Volunteers Wanted!

Help set another stage of over 20 years of tradition in Carrizozo with the preparation of Luminaries for the ever traditional New Mexican Christmas Eve.  Volunteers will gather at the Carrizozo fire house on Airport Road to help “sack” sand and candles into brown bags to be set along Carrizozo’s streets on Christmas Eve.  There will be free snacks and lunch for volunteers.  Christmas Eve Day volunteers are also needed to distribute the sacks and later that day, light the candles.

Dusk Wednesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve
