Film Carrizozo

New Mexico has a long history of filming going back to 1898 when Thomas Edison made his first short film "Indian Day School." Filming continues today with the states attractive film incentives in the form of tax credits and investment programs. Recently New Mexico was rated 3rd most popular state to film in, after California and New York.

Carrizozo is known as a film friendly town and encourages filming projects. Whether you are a small company making commercials or a full scale multi million dollar company ready to make the next block-buster, Carrizozo welcomes you.
